Default Nerf Bars compatibility

I've been looking to replace the steps on my H2 & I've ruled out the amp power steps (water & actuators don't mix, even though they claim they are water proof). Everything else is narrow.

I really liked the original H2 steps on my 03. Are those compatible with the 08s/09s?
Here's a pic if you're not familiar:

I wouldn't mind getting opinions on good steps, but I really want a solid answer if this'll work or not.

I prefer the U-steps above everything else. I had thought about the nfab bars but came across a set of U's for dirt cheap many years ago. Had them on every since. These days a decent set of U's goes for a pretty penny though.

I agree with LJ, u-steps are the way to go with the 2.

Thanks guys.

Yeah, they are expensive. They are still out in the wild, but a full set will run you $1000+ unless you wait for an ebay deal.

I really should have jumped on that ebay deal back in January!
