OK - so yes I did do a search and found nothing to cover my topic. So, which would you buy for the price vs. quality or mfg. name. I've heard stories about flaking and pitting on lesser quality models but don't know which are good and which are not. Or, if there is somewhere else I should look I'm all ears.

I bought the set from Houston, TX. they were factory seconds.... I asked, "Well, how bad are they?" They said the looked fine.

I happened to be in Houston a few weeks later on business and bought a set of the so called seconds... I can tell you personally, at least from my experience they are as near perfect as I could imagine.

I could not find a single blemish on mine, everything was factory wrapped, the SS looks like triple chome... black insteps are perfect too. I dunno what could be wrong with this set the factory would consider "seconds".. I bolted them up in 20 minutes, everything fit and looks perfect.

I can't promise you the same results but I can tell you I couldn't have gotten a better deal on Stainless Steel nerf bars.

I swear I can't find a single flaw and believe me, I looked. (Maybe the box was dented???)

 

Thanks Hummer Driver - I think I'll go the seconds. Hopefully my experience is like yours. Can't wait to put them on!!
