Ok i just picked up a set of factory black nerf bars from ebay. The only problem isthat they dont come with any of the bolts to mount them to the frame. The brackets and every thing else are still attached. I called the hummer stealership and they want $37.oo a pack for the bolts, and i need 2 packs. My question is does anyone know what size those are so i can pick up some bolts else were. or do you know were i can possibly pick some up for cheaper than the dealerships. Thanks for your help

 

YOu should be able to find what you need using good common sense at HomeDepot.

 

thats what i was thinking, but wasnt sure if some one else had a better idea! THe part numer for the hardware set is # 88967850.

 

$37.00 is insanity. You can get them at any Hardware store or the Big Chains ...Homer Depotty and Lowelifes.... for around $12-14.00 tax included.

Look for 10MM x 40MM 1.50 pitch, grade 8.8. This size fits all the factory tapped frame holes for Nerf Bars and Rock Rails.

Glad to help blaine. Honestly, IMHO that size is longer than it needs to be, but that is the correct size. You could easily get away with 30 - 35MM length
if you cannot find enough 40MMs at the store you first hit.
