Default Need to repair power mirrors

Like many other H2's both my side mirrors have issues, they are difficult to adjust, the motors are operational but stuck and they hardly fold.

There is a youtube clip showing someone who dismantled and cleaning mechanisms I wondered if anyone has some tips or pics of a disassembled mirror. I've looked for an assembly drawing but couldn't find anything useful.

There is also another video showing how to remove the glass without breaking it so this is a start.

It looks like the door panel has to be accessed from the inside in order to access the mirror bolts, again any links or pictures of this step would be welcome.

Would be happy to video or take pics of the steps involved and post them.

I replaced the drivers side mirror. It's not too bad of a job.

Hardest part is getting the interior door panel off without cracking the plastic.

There are 4 bolts that hold the mirror on. And yes they are acceded from inside the door.

I taped a foam pad to the exterior just under the mirror so if I lost it while removing the bolts it wouldn't scratch the paint.

I have pics on my computer at home. Will post later tonight.

a little damage control... I was very liberal with the grease all under the mirror. body seams, bolts etc. when re-assembling.

What year is yours? On my 08 it was easy and cheap to replace the motor assembly only. I watched a video and then had to figure a little more. Not sure if earlier models use the motor assembly I know some did not. I took pics and was going to do a write but haven't made them time.
I did not have a problem with folding just mirror adjustment.

Thank you madmayo for the pics.

Re the year, its a 2006.

When I get brave enough I'll remove the mirror, look inside and take a pic. It would be good if it can be serviced without taking the door apart.
