Hi my friends, it's Max from italy, sorry for my bad english first i hope you can undestand all i'll write.
i friend had some problem with his H3 2006 3.7 and now need to change the engine. he found a 3.7 2008 engine but the mechanic find some difference beetwen the engines. please let me know if is possible to use 2008 engine or not. we are in trouble.

2006 H3 only had the 3.5. The 3.7 is a bit different but it should fit. You will have to do PCM (computer) changes. Good luck.

 

probably is 2007 cose are both 3.7 but the old one have 1 more sensor on the top right above the fan...

i foud some more info:
Broken H3 is a 2007 3.7 that have the camshaft sensor vin E
donor H3 is a 2009 3.7 that have NO camshaft sensor Vin E

i spent our and our to find some info or diagram but without results, plese help me.
what the difference engine code is the same, vin engine code is the same (8th E) but now we foud this difference.
we told about drill 09 head to locate the sensor but it'll work?
we told about find a person to tune che computer (is not simple here) but it'll work?
