Hi guys I went to get into my truck today & it didnt want to start .I have a factory cut off switch located in the cruise control lever where you have to push in the button on the cruise control lever to start the truck .I went to turn over the engine but nothing happen 15 mins later it started no problem .The next day it did the same thing again had to wait a few hours right as the tow truck was arriving it started again.I then took it to the mechanic then it would start without pushing in the kill switch button & problem a little while later still not starting again.My guess is the kill switch button is going bad does this sound correct or could it be another part of the system?

 

I don't know enough to say that is the problem, but if it were me, the first thing I would do is to bypass the kill switch and see if the problem persists. If not, you have your answer.
