Has anyone install an after market navigation unit in their H3? How hard is it and is it worth the price? Which unit would you recommend? I've seen them from $300.00 to $1800.00 thanks. Also I want a back-up camera in the unit.

If you do a forum search you'll find some good info on aftermarket radios. I decided to keep my stock radio until it dies. Keep in mind the aftermarket radios require certain adapters to retain factory chimes and stuff.

These days it seems hard to justify the cost of an in-dash Nav system when smartphones and portable GPS sets are so darn cheap and capable. Also you can upgrade them cheaply when the next "have to have" new feature comes out.

Yeah, I mounted a widescreen Garmin GPS to a Daystar Dash Tray.
Better viewing angle and better graphics than the OEM Nav units.

is the daystar tray held on with doublesided tape?

it looks like a good solution to hold stuff. no room in my H3 to put stuff.
i found one on ebay for 28.71
still lookin for a phone holder to mount it on the dash. the suction cup holder i have won't stay.

The Daystar tray snaps into the dash.
In the center of the dash near the windshield is a small access panel. That panel snaps out and the tray snaps in.
