Sooo, I found this laying on the floor under the passenger seat of my '95.

GM part number is 15040023, which does NOT come back as a HUMMER part, but is a GM part: 2000-2006 GM Yukon Denali SEAT ADJUSTER/RECLINER COVER P/N 15040023

I cannot figure out where this thing goes! HUMMER OEM parts diagrams don't have the part, much less where it goes. Looked at the driver seat and there is no part even comparable. and there is no obvious, or even UNobvious place on or under the passenger seat where it goes. Weird.

Any clues?

 

This looks like a plastic cover that is placed behind the front seat. It covers the track the seat moves forward and backwards on. Hope this helps!
