as for my previous topic i live in Costa Rica and i got no dealership down here.

I read on my 2007 h3 car manual that my radio (the standard 6 cd edition no nav) that it reads mp3 cds recorded on cd-r on a closed session.

Mine dont work it comes out as one track w no noise!!

does anyone have any hint anything i might be doing wrong?

you may have misread the manual. The 6cd radio does not do mp3. The only H3 radio that does mp3 says mp3 on the faceplate.

 

it s so weird there is 2 pages in the manual i wonder if it refers to another radio version maybe the nav??

 

The first paragraphs of the manual say to verify what version of radio you have first. I don't think the Nav does MP3 either but I could be incorrect on that. If you're really curious, use the Search feature - it's been discussed before.

 

The only player that plays MP3 has MP3 on the faceplate.
My MP3 CDs would not work in either the NAV or 6 CD player play MP3s.
The parts guy showed me the microfische that had the MP3 player with the logo on the front.
Theparts guy ordered the MP3 with the MP3 logo on the front of the player and all of my MP3 disks worked.

 

Unless it looks like this, you are SOL my friend. (Pissed me off as well).

It will have MP# on the face plate and "File Folder Icons" on the last two buttons.

 

Just install the auxillary input jack and then you don't need anything else.

 

You can also buy a double din Panasonic player that plays cd's, mp3's and dvd's.
