Default MY ODometer seems off

Hi,

I just want to ask, if anyone have a problem with their odometer.

I think my new Hummer 3 is probably wrong with the odometer. Most people drive at least 60 MPH on the Long Island Express way, my odometer is indicating I am drive about 40 MPH to 45 MPH, and I keep up with everyone on the road. Has anyone experience this before?

do you have stock tires? if you do, it's probably something you want to have checked by the dealer. and it's the speedometer that indicates speed, the odometer tracks how far you've gone. a good test would be to reset your odometer before going to work - if you know how many miles it is - and see if that is correct when you get to work.

oops, I meant Speedometer. Well, please excuse me, since I am not really good with the car parts.

I think I need to get it checked out, it worries me sometimes.

Thank you for the answer. Howard.

I thought I had the same problem too. You can check with a handheld gps unit. Mine ended up being correct.
