Default My H3T story

My Hummer story.

This past October, I was taking my 5 year old son to a Park District Soccer game (which I was coaching) and we were in my 1997 S10 4X4 extended cab P/U. We were only 3 blocks from my homewhen we were involved in a car accident.Someone ran a stop sign and hit me square on the drivers door spun me around 90 degrees. As a result, the truck was totaled. I was injured slightly and my son was fine.

Once, I was well enough to to get an around I had to start truck shopping. My wife and I started at our local Hummer dealer to test drive the H3T. What a ride! Being that I am over 6' tall, I was not acustom to moving the seat up to drive. My mind was made up, however, I did want to try other brands. I tried the Chevy Colorado (the replacement for the S10) and I was not impressed.

The following week, my wife and I returned to the Hummer dealer and purchased the H3T. I was the first one to take delivery of one from my dealer, The only had 3 at the time. It is a very nice truck and look forward to the future adventures my family and I will have. With all the snow we had in December, it handled better than my previous S10 4X4. Once I understand how to upload pics, I will share my pics.

My only comments on the vehicle is that I wish the steering wheel tilted up more than it does. I have to slide my right leg in on an angle. I am not that impressed with the sound quality of the stereo. Too much BASS and I have corrected by turning it down and the treble up a little, Maybe these are issues I could address with the dealer.

Thanks for reading!

I'm glad to hear you and your son made it out ok from your accident. Congrats on your new H3T. I bought a 09 H3 for my wife a couple of weeks ago and have the same issue with the steering wheel. I didn't know the H3T exsisted until I went shopping for the H3. I bought a Colorado back in May and had I knew the H3T was comming out, I would have held out for one. What options did you get for your H3T? Let's see some pics!

Scott

PS: I would appreciate itif anyonecould provide me with someexcuses that I can use to persuade my wife into letting metrade in my Colorado for a H3T!

Scott,

Mine isBlack with Black Clothe interior, has the sun or moon roof (nice and big). There are not too many bells or whistles on this truck. The radio is basic with AM/FM/XMand single CD. It does have the bluetooth (might be standard) via the On Star. Drivers seat has the 8 way power. Takes the Snow really well. I did purchase the diamond back cover and installed it myself and wasnt too bad. The cover was not on the truck when the picture was taken.

Take Care,

Steve

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed the bass! I thought it was just me!! But if that's the only thing I can find to complain about, I'll be happy!!!

Congrats on the new truck!! Love mine too!
