Default My H3 was in an accident today.........

After school today I got in a wreck. When entering the school parking lot I look to my left then BAM!!! Some idiot didnt stop at the stop sign and t-boned into my rig. I get out of the car and immedietly look and see the damage. I was expecting damage on the whole side of the car. The only thing that was damaged was the nerf bars thank god. His car on the other hand is bad. The whole front end of his saturn was hanging. None of us were hurt and im just so thankful that the nerfs were there.

Glad to see there was no damage to your H3 body. People running stop signs is a problem. Check out my photo album. My wife, kids and I survived a bad accident on 7-3-10 thanks to our Hummer. We were going 55mph and got t-boned by another guy in a 4x4 who ran a stop sign at 55mph.

this is kind of why I want to get the rocky road sliders

they stick out far enough to stop people's doors from hitting you, can be somewhat of a step, and perform the basic functions of a slider

and I hope that dumb@$$ driver pays for and installs some new nerfs for ya

ya, you problably have minor damage to the underside from the brackets or the bolts being impacted. i would lift it up and have it checked out still.

Damn, your truck looks better than ones I've seen who haven't been in an accident
Glad you're OK and just pissed off at the stop sign runner

Crank the tbars (so the car goes under you next time) and ditch the nerf bars (while picking up a set of rock sliders).

Well so much for those who say the nerf bars have no useful purpose. They make pretty good "crumple zones". Glad to hear there was no other significant damage and no injuries.

Hey, wanta buy my nerf bars? Then I can buy the sliders I really want.
