MPG's
Mine is a Factory H2 and I'm also in Orlando/Winter Park, FL. I'm at 8 mpg pulling a 27' trailer in tow mode (just to keep my temps in check) (FYI, Towing Great with a Weight Distribution Hitch and no additional suspension upgrades (None Air Bag Truck). Without a trailer I'm averaging 10 mpg. I've seen 18.5 mpg on the Highway going 60, and have a picture to prove it. But it's rare. Maybe it's the heat. Florida heat cooks everything.
I have the Airdoc tube with an Airaid Filter inside the stock filter box. It pulls plenty of cooler air from between the fender well, so an open filter box isn't needed or advised.
Don't trust that mpg readout on your dash, It's a Liar.
For those that don't know; You acheived a true MPG by
1. Filling up the tank and resetting your mileage Trip A to zero.
2. After you run a few days, go back and fill up again.
3. You then can divide your Trip A mileage by your Gallons added (on your receipt) to get your MPG's.
Clicking the reset on your dash readout just gives you a temporary guesstimate on how many miles you can go, per gas usage, per rolling mile (at that moment).
I'll be ordering a Programmer soon to see if the original owner changed Parameters.

Yeah. I'm gonna see how accurate the mpg indicator is the next time i fill up.
I'm also leaning away from a CAI. The truck gets cold air now as it is. I will change out the filter with a K&N or similar though.
I really wanna do the Magnaflow exhaust.

Ok I just filled it up and did the math
My truck said 12.8 Mpg (mostly city driver)
I put in 20.1 gallons of gas and the trip odometer shown 248 miles (I always zero it out on fill up)
248/20.1=12.333Mpg
So the truck calculation is a little off but not way off.
I put a shot of Lucas Fuel Treatment each time as well (if anyone was interested)

I get around 14.5 - 15.5 mpg highway and 12ish around town. I have 327K miles on it and scared to change the pugs or the setup cause I am happy with it the mpg. Yes 17 to 20 would be wonderful, I just don't want to end up with 8-10 highway after a change. And that 14.5mgp is with 37" tires too.
Yes, I know sounds stupid. But if it isn't broke don't fix it.

Crazy hard to believe b/c you couldn't drop mine off a cliff and get 15mpg. Did you regear for the 37's?
