I have an 03 H2 and my gas mileage on 87 Octane gas is as follows: highway at 55 = 14mpg......at 65 = 13mpg......at 75 = 11mpg......around town with stops & starts and driving 30-60 = 10mpg.......on the highway when I pull my 6x12 vnose enclosed trailer with harley and luggage I get approx 9.5mpg at 65-70 mph.....I run 40lbs of air in my tires

would like to hear from anyone who has tried performance chips ...or...special air filters like the K&N or Airaid......or cool air induction......would like to increase my horsepower & fuel performance without spending a lot of money....

 

Like i posted before I only have a EFI cold air intake and I do around 18 MPG at 55-60mph and around town with keeping a light foot I get 13-14. I have no clue how much it matters from year to year from your 2003 to my 07 HUMMER but its proven if you unrestrist the air flow you get better MPG. A programer will work good and a better exast will also work good do all of this you should be golden.

 

I am just picking up an 04 H2, was wondering what I should expect for MPG. It seems different year modles are running different fuel economies.

 

Just picked up my 04 H2 with 44K miles. Mixed HWY/City first tank was 13.1 via onboard computer and 12.3 per my calculations.

 

Yeah I am getting between 13-15 mpg according to my on board computer. Lol I expected 8-10, so I am very pleasantly surprised. I got mine from 400 miles away, didn't want any underbody rust and this was the closest one that met that need. Driving home was doing around 14 mpg on the highway
