I thought I'd post my most recent gas mileage. I have 23000 km (about 14000 miles).
All city driving, lots of freeway speeds of 100 km/hour (60 mph) and city streets of 60 km/hour (40 mph) on my last tank, and here is what I got...

I went 193 km on 31.93 litres = 16.5 l/100 km
121 miles on 7 imp gal = 17.3 imp mpg
121 miles on 8.4 US gal = 14.4 US mpg

Not too bad for what it is!

That's actually really good. I guess the new 08 engine is a bit better on gas than the 6L.

 

I use premium gas and I have both 3rd row seats out, but I do have the spare tire on the back, and cross rails on the racks. All these little things may add up, but I am impressed with the gas mileage, just about the same as almost any half ton pick up or full size SUV.

 

I'm averaging 10.6 in my 06

 

I have had 05, 06 , and o8 absolutely no difference. 11.7 MPG

the 08 requires premium to run right so thats 30 cents per gallonhigher on average.. I got rid of the 08 , kept the 06 which does not require premium.

 

That is what my 06 gets and the 03 I had before it. But I run 75-80 on the highway so I dont think it's too bad.

 

I didn't think it required premium, I have always just used it.

 

2004 H2 59,000 miles
almost 11.9 around town and close to 14.0 at 55MPH....if I don't goose it. Drops off over 60MPH. I run 40PSI in tires which gave me almost 1 MPG boost over running 37PSI

 

I get about 12.7-13.1 Mpg on average and I average 45-55mph on a H2 with 100,000 miles with no engine mods.

 

I checked tonight on the way home...

8.8mpg

not bad....
