More a/c issues... Compressor?
Okay... Been posting as I go on this freaking a/c problem.
It started with a blown resistor, burnt wiring harness, and fried hvac switch.
I got all of that swapped out, everything's blowing but the compressor is not kicking on. I hooked up my gauges and the low side is 100 psi and the high side is 110 psi - normally this is indicative of a bad compressor but since everything was working fine before that resistor blew - I'm thinking (hoping) it could be something else.
I did the recalibration routine - nothin.
Checked everything in the fuse box and the relay by the resistor and everything is good.
Anyone know?

Okay. I think I got this figured out. I jumped the compressor relay and it cooled down and the clutch engaged and everything. I replaced the relay and drove it around for a little bit and the engine light came on. Hooked my scanner up to it and it's throwing p0128.
I'm thinking the coolant system is out of whack and it's disabling the air compressor

Replaced thermostat and cts, mixed coolant perfectly, ran it through, burped it... Still throwing the code. But now I'm seeing bits of trash in the coolant. It's not metal flake like someone tried to do a sealant... I'm thinking the water pump is crapped out. Shoulda just swapped it out while I had it drained and torn apart. Whatev - wasn't expecting to tear into this thing like this within a month of buying it.
