OK. I'm sorry I said that.
But how can it be clear to someone that doesn't know? Everybody has to learn somehow. Some people aren't as quick to understand it.
The role of an admin and mod is not written in stone anywhere and not everybody in the world knows what that means. But I see your point. Don't take the position unless you know what it involves. We shouldn't have to show you. You should already know from experience. If you don't have enough of it, then don't take the role until you are more experienced dealing with people and the issues.
I get it
The only reason I'm an Admin is because Patrick asked me to be. I told him I didn't want it unless you had it as well because I'd be too nieve to know I was being f'd with half the time. He wasn't sure if you would want it because at the time he asked me, you had alot going on with your new baby and weren't around much at all. He needed somebody so I said yes, but only if he would make you one as well, even if you weren't here alot. I told him straight out, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do other then ban **** talkers and a&&holes. I'll admit it. I never said I was going to be a good one
Thankfully you came back on here and was able to do it. This place would be really f'd up if you weren't here. I'm the first to admit that. I just need some guidance sometimes.
I'm used to running an I.T. department, not an online forum. Dealing with people under you and working for attorneys is different then dealing with this stuff. I'm where I'm at because of my experience and knowledge. Here, I'm still a newbie.

By definition of a Moderatoron the internet she is correct... and as long as she logs on everyday and does it she is correct...
http://www.marketingterms.com/dictionary/moderator/
NOW.... by my definition... and as Admin on all of my past forums the definition of a Moderator was synanamous with a leader...
http://www.sitepoint.com/article/guide-life-parts-1-2
Banning her was wrong.... by doing that you only enforced her position that you are on a power trip to the other mods...
and that is all I'm gonna say....

No one really laid out what a Moderator did for me. I was told you watch the forum for spammers, inappropriate posts and take them to the admins for action. If there is more to it than thatlet me know.I'm here to help so if I need to do anything else also let me know that.It was interesting that according to that link I actually outposted Hummbob last month. I didn't think that was possible.
Muddy, she was banned because we've been looking to do it for awhile now anyway....this was just a good reason. See...we banned her boyfriend a few weeks ago and he he decided to hack into and shut down the entire streetglow site...the message boards and the business side of it..so they lost lots o money. She's been a complete bitch ever since. Theres a lot more to it than what you read...all mods were told their main job was to lead the forum whne they took the position...this is the first thing I changed when I got there. This board is different than most..it is a business...sure every forum out there is there to make money on ad banners and crap but this is different..this is there to support the customers from the business side of things...the Streetglow website makes $800 every 12 hours on average during the week and $1200 every 12 hours on the weekends...so they do not want me to tolorate anyone that doesn't support the product....by her saying it isn't her job as a mod to advertise the streetglow product...I got a phone call 5 minutess after she posted it telling me to drop the ax...I had already done it so I got a few points there
