Million $ Idea For All Oil Changing H3 Owners
It is called a "shop rag".
You stick one up under the filter, spread it out, have the new filter ready to go,
spin off the old and quickly spin on the new, toss the rag, done.

I pay $45 for an oil change at my dealer. Its well worth it. They take off the skid plates and throughouly inspeck the rest of the vehicle while the oil is drianing. I typically inspect it with the mechanic as well. the reality is it would cost me $25-$30 to do it myself. So for a little more money I dont have to lay in the driveway and then dispose of my old oil. Also I get free roadside assistance with my oil change. So I dont worry about my AAA anymore.
I guess my ribbits are still tight because I didn't have that problem, I'll file this post away for future use though because knowing my H3 they won't be tight for long.
