Not one Mac user? [>:] Dell schmell

 

If you're mainly gaming, then go Alienware with a G15 keyboard and a G7 mouse from Logitech. If forhome/office/maybe some gaming, then I too agree abouthp, as I've had a few which have had to have their integrated sound cards/hard drives replaced too many times...under warranty thank goodness.My best friend used to be an engineer/programmer for Dell, and he swears by them. Since he never came through on the 'Dell deal' that he was supposed to get me, I now currently have a high-end Sony desktop with a Gateway 24" LCD monitor, as well as a Compaq laptop which I've used for 'on the job' reports.The laptop I've had for about six years now and the desktop for almost three years, andI haven't experienced any problems with these to date. BTW, the Compaq was purchased pre-hp/Compaq merger...heh...heh.I'd go with what the 'guys in the know' (above) have recommended, as they all pretty well much agree on Dell...good luck.
