Magellan RoadMate 1200
So my daughter will be leaving town in a few months to go live in Tampa to attend USF, She doesnt know the area real well so I picked up a Magellan RoadMate 1200 GPS its a fairly good unit and I like the price alot so im pretty happy with it. Has anyone else had a GPS by Magellan and so what are your experiences with it?

RE: Magellan RoadMate 1200
I had a pocket PC with Tomtom on it. It was a little slow but what to expect when your phone doubles as a GPS. We did just get the Magellan Maestro 3225 for $149.99 at Costco for the time being until we can agree on what to do about the in dash Nav system. So far I have liked it much better than my Tomtom just because it actually tells me the exit's name that is on the sign and not the exit number that most exits don't even have on them, someone hasn't told Tomtom yet I guess. Other than that they seem pretty similar but being it's own unit the 3225 is much faster,
