That level definitely isnt going to trigger the alarm on your DLC. It is most likely your oil sensor. Which is located at the back of your intake manifold.

Mine would alarm on the Dlc and i would have 0 pressure at idle. Give it a quick shot of gas and it would go up to 45 psi. It turned out to be a burr where the piston seats in the valve on the oil pump. It sucked... At least no bearing damage.

Hope u find ur solution. My case is different. Car running fine with 0psi pressure in the dash. Checked with manual gauge it shows 40psi+- idle. Wonder what went wrong...

Unless you've got a wiring issue? Freyed or loose connection or water. But i think you would have more than just the message and alarm on the dlc.

The oil sensor if i remember correct was around $60. I would start there.
