Love my H3 but!
My dealership in Columbus Ohio has been great also. They always greet you by name, never had a problem getting in for service. And they fixed all my problems while they gave me another H3 to drive for the day.GAVE me a center cap for my spare because Icomplained that it looked like crap without one.The didn't care that I cranked the TB's either. Just aligned it for me. OH, and I got a Christmas card from the salesperson [8D]
I had a bunch of stupid stuff go wrong at the beginning, more than I've had on any car to date, and actually more than my last three cars combined. But the dealer took care of it and nothing has acted up in many, many months. So the whole "but" is gone from my conversation - love the H3!
Generally I dislike dealers very much and have no use for them but my Hummer dealer is the only one within a 100 mile radius so I don’t have much choice. But I lucked out. My bro-in-law who is chief-cop in town is a personal friend with the owner of the Hummer dealership and my salesman is my neighbor. Actually he’s the kid who used to cut my lawn (he’s all grown up now) and treats me very well. I've not had any major issues with my Alpha yet and I'm keeping my fingers crossed especially after hearing about all the troubles Solarflare is having.
Well I wish I could say I had a good dealer but mine was terrible. I live in Eastern NC and the closest Hummer dealer is in Wilmington NC or Cary NC. I bought mine in Cary and thought the whole deal was terrible. Mine was used and certified. I asked questions and never got answers. I even had dirty floor mats in there and asked about them giving me the rubber set in the deal and he was like no and thats that. He said he would sell them for cost 154.00! This was after the salesman (nice young fellow) told me 90 dollars. So I did the deal as I liked the Hummer and thought it was a fair deal. They explained nothing, acted like nothing and I was in the parking lot for over 2 hours getting stuff off mytrade in. Never was told thanks, never was explained anything about the vehicle (learned more here, thanks all) and turned around two weeks later and seen the rubber mats on their web site for 90. I called and that actually took three days with me constantly following up to get a refund. Then to boot it took 7 weeks to get a title which I found out was illegal in NC for them to sell with out. They said things like we will send you warranty information and events listings and things, nothing. Hell if it wasnt for this board as maybe you can call me lazy i still would have questions.I came from a long line of another brand for years i still own and when you bought the vehicle you got a class and a darn bell rangor something. Maybe a hand shake ro a person saying thanks would have been enough! My vehicle wasnt evenwashed. He said since he charged me for the floor mats I can get a shirt and hat that I had to bring up an hour or so later as I emptied out my truck. Sono help nothing and that is why I would go to Saskatchawan to buy another Hummer as I love it before I would buy from Hendrick Hummer in Cary ever again. He did say when you purchase a Hummer you get treated like this and that and a loaner etc but Iam 2 and a half hours away. I am heading to Wilmington NCtomorrow and there is a Hummer dealer there that may be able to give me scheduled maintenance and make me feel good. I guees it sounds like I am neady but darnmaybe I was used to the other brand dealer where you were treated with respect and they cared about you, not like Hendrick Hummer. But again I have loved the Hummer experience and I wont let a dealer that doesnt know the proper way to treat customers ruin the Hummer brand and I am very proud of my Hummer and that it is made in the USA
That's bullchit! Are they an actual Hummer dealership? If so I would call GM and complain about them. GM does not like to hear complainants about their dealers treating customers like that. Did the dealer send you a customer satisfaction card? They usually want you to fill in five stars so they get a good rating.
I always said, “you buy your first car because of price and your second car because of service.”

Yes they are Hendrick auto group and an official Hummer dealer. I took it locally for service a Cadillac/Buick/Olds dealer and they already sent out a card and actually a reminder for a service with a free loaner card. Hopefully this weekend in Wilmington i can talk with that dealer and make a friend! But I will say the vehiclle has not given me a problem and I guess I am lucky.
