Love my H3 but!
As an old guy I’ve had a lot of different vehicles’ but I think the H3 is my most favorite of all.
Great combination of luxury and ruggedness. The only negative comment would be
that Hummer quality control and their customer service are slack. Got several items on my new H3 that
need correcting. Dealer and Hummer customer service could care less. No sweat I still love the H3
and their attitude is about the same as others I have dealt with. If you have something you do not like
get it taken care of before you take delivery. Once they get your money the desire to please you
disappears.
Peace

That's commonplace now.... it really doesn't even have to do with the dealer... I was in an accident 12/2/2007 and I'm still trying to get the collision center to fix the water leaks from the seals they removed to paint.... after they had the truck for 2 months...
one thing good about my dealer was they were very concerend about getting good review for service and if you didnt give them all 5's ( extremely satisfied) they would call ask how they can make it better, and give me free 30 min phone cards for the onstar, and make things right. Also always had appointments, i could just show up in the am , and my car wouldbe done by after work. But that was before they moved without telling me !!!
this is a dealership concern and not a hummer truck concern. My dealership took care of everything without any wait when I had a problem. When I bitched that the sticker on the truck said it had children safety door locks and the truck didn't have it my dealer paid two months of my lease for me.
I disagree I’ve had excellent customer service from my dealership. Anything they have installed they have stood behind. I’m talking about HUMMER approved accessories. I had problems with the seal on the chrome gas cap (cover). No problem they replaced it with a brand new one. CAI filter kept sliding off. Dealer replaced the filter box no questions. As far as warranty? Both computers failed and were fixed. One took a week for parts I was given a DTS Caddy. When they fixed the other I was given an SUV and sent to the movies. Maybe I’m lucky or maybe they are just providing the customer service you would expect from HUMMER.

Sorry to hear you're having problems with your dealer and customer service. I haven't had any issues with the dealers I've dealt with.
The dealer in Houston was great and delivered a total no-hassles purchase. When things weren't right on servicing they worked untill they fixed them right. I stopped by the Hummer dealer in Tucson, AZ while on the road this week for an oil change. They didn't know me from a hole in the wall yet they treated me great. They fixed a crooked steering wheel, aligned the front end, and rotated my tires (this is and the oil were the only things I paid for), and washed my vehicle while I was there.
There are some great Hummer dealers out there...you may just have a bad one. If what they say is true about how hard it is to get the Hummer line they may not be a dealer for long if their service stinks.

I love my dealer also. The only guy didn't care for was their finance manager. After I worked out my deal and was all set, he came in & tried to hustle us on some poly raz-ma-taz no wax crap for an extra 10 bucks a month. I kinly declined but this guy just wouldn't give up. When he got to the point of saying "whats the matter, can't you afford 10 bucks a month?" I started to get pissed. Finaly I asked him why I would pay for that on "their" vehicle (a lease). He said "you'll never have to wax it" my reply was..."what in the world makes you think i'm EVER going to wax it anyway?"
Upon pick up of the H3 the next day big cheese at the stealership came by to introduce himself and say thanks and how was our buying expierence. That's when the wife unloaded on him. He appoligized over & over and said he will take care of that prob.
That was the 2nd time that happened to me and again at a GM dealership.

Geez, I wish I had some good service departments up in my area....it's hard when you have only one to deal with......The Hummer dealer is great...but you have to go to the chevy dealer for service.....they just don't like to deal with anything.......oh well......maybe on a road trip, I can stop in and see some other Hummer dealers......
