Hey All;

I am looking at a 2009 Alpha and need a little info and advice.

In looking through these posts, trying to figure out all of the option packages has my head spinning. I'm hoping if I list a few of the things this truck has/has not, maybe someone can tell me where it stands.

Here's what I can determine on my own:

Alpha
non-lockers (no little button on the dash on the right side)
monsoon
tow package
back up camera in the mirror
chrome wheels
Leather seating
sunroof (big one at that)
auxillary lights (2) mounted at the top of the windshield (I know this was probably added by dealer
Same for the brush guard on the front
Automatic
All the power goodies that seem standard on most of these

Do any of these sound like part of a package exclusively?

I know the answers lie within these forums, but honestly it seems to be a fairly mixed bag with changes from year to year.

Sounds like a 2009 Alpha. No OffRoad Package

Remember a lot of these rigs have had parts changed or
modified by previous owners and even dealers.


Purely by sight without the keys to the rig and the doors
locked:


A bone stock H3 Adventure will have the Bridgstone 285/75R16
tires. Take a peak inside and you will see the center stalk
4x4 controls. There will be 2 buttons to the right side of
the 4x4 controls instead of one.


A bone stock H3 Alpha (not Championship editions) will have
chrome mirrors, chrome door handles, Alpha badge on the
steering wheel, Alpha Badge on both of the front leather seat
head rests, Alpha Badge on the rear door.


A bone stock H3 Championship Edition will have Red shocks and
brake calipers, fender flares, hood stripe behind the fake
hood vent, exclusive Ultra Silver Metallic paint, 2 buttons
to the right side of the 4x4 controls. Note: they could be
had with the Base or Chrome Package, Leather or Cloth.

for the H3/H3T I have compiled:


The Adventure package was only available on the I5 equipped
H3/H3Ts.


The OffRoad package was only available on the V8 (Alpha)
equipped H3/H3Ts.

carfax shows checked for electrical issue? could be a battery or those pos oe terminals. Also shows auctioned off. Alot of miles considering only showing around 4 years in service. Check it out, or take it to your mechanic for inspection. If all checks out and in mint condition, I would offer around $20k. GL

 

first of all I would get them to knock some off the price. I bought an 08 Alpha for that price with 18k miles on it a little over a year ago.
