So after we purchased our H3 we drove back some 500 miles or so. We left around 2pm, and considering its winter and we are far up north (northern bc, just below alaska), we ran out of light by about 4pm. I figured lights would be spectacular on H3, and dont get me wrong, they are not bad, but they have room for improvement.

Low lights are ok when you turn the fog lights on. However, the high beams are not so great.

So so far I figured out that main lights take H13 bulb. Does anyone know what bulb goes into fog lights.

My guess is that have 55/65 W lights in there. I used to have 90/140W in my old car, and although they are more than allowed, cops here really dont care. They know there are no lights on highways and you got to be able to see. If I put those in there, would they fry stuff? Or can h3 wireing take it?

Same question for the fog lights?

What do you guys use (and no, Im not interested in HID at this point, as they are too expensive, and they need projector lamps to work properly)

Fog lights take H11's. I have replaced my head and fog lights with the StreetGlow H13 and H11. They are much better than the stocks. I also just added two Lightforce 170 Strikers and they are BRIGHT and long throwing - I recommend them highly.

I believe it is H11 for the fog light bulb

I also found Silverstar Ultra H13 replacement bulbs are legal and brighter than the stock bulb
