I don't see how a bar there will eliminate vibration on the front of the bar....gotta somehow dampen the bouncing caused by the weight of the lights. Unfortunately you will always have vibration in a roof mounted light bar...justnature of the beast. You would need some sort of a neoprene or rubber block that attaches to the bar and the top of the truck with 2 sided autotape maybe. They would absorbthe bouncing and the vibrations. just my

What I was trying to illustrate with that child like MS paint drawing
(You're dead by the way HJ)
was how 4 mounting points would better balance the bar and offer a more secure/steady
platform for the lights. Even moreso if you moved the whole thing back about 6 inches
on a rig with no sun roof. If the shipping specs were to be believed, 4 KC Daylighters are
12 lbs +. Try holding a 3 foot length of broomstick with one hand and 12 lbs hanging off
the opposite end....Now put a second hand in the middle....See.........
For the record, I have no idea if that made any friggin sense as I;ve been up for 36 hours
straight and just put in another 13 hour day......Someone may have to get out the
decoder ring and translate...
Did that explanation make any sense?
BTW: My VP walked in on me while I was doodling that stupid pictureduring a conference call but never said a word.....Uhhhhhhh...It's a VISO diagram........
