Did they break down that $4900 price for you?

Parts vs. Labor

What size and type of tires for $1200?

Does that include a spare?

From what I have read on this and other forums, they would have to prove that your lift actually caused any given part failure.

There is a deal called the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act or some such thing, to protect you in warranty disputes arising from after market gear.

I think Dennis can quote you from it by heart......

It includes parts/labor out the door.....Tires are 5 Toyo MT's
I know someone that can put the lift on for probably close to 1/2 the price but my dealership told me it will void my waranty.
So thought I would post it out on the board to get some replies......see whats up....or away around it....
Thanks,
Tammy

Your stealership is full of crack smokers!!! You do NOT have to take it there in order to maintain the warranty. If you did you could never take it anywhere else as long as you have a warranty ... maybe they have empty pipes and need a couple of rocks to put in em ....
Like Gunner said regarding the Magnuson-Moss act, they HAVE TO PROVE the aftermarket parts caused the failure you are making a warranty claim for ... if they can't and they still give you grief .. go to the Corporate side of things and file a complaint against the dealership, that usually seem to work rather well.
