Forgive me if this is too simple a question but I need to change the lift gate struts on my 2005 H2. I don't see any attachment hardware. Is it hidden or do they just pop off the nipple that they seem to be attached to? (sorry about that preposition)

you pry the metal clip outward and they pop off...

 

Thanks for the response. It is a very simple clip that needs to be pried off that lets the attachment slip off.
