Lift Gate Struts

Forgive me if this is too simple a question but I need to change the lift gate struts on my 2005 H2. I don't see any attachment hardware. Is it hidden or do they just pop off the nipple that they seem to be attached to? (sorry about that preposition:))

you pry the metal clip outward and they pop off...

Thanks for the response. It is a very simple clip that needs to be pried off that lets the attachment slip off.
