Default LED Pod No Drill Install

Using the front license plate holes on my H3, I was able to mount 2 KAWELL 18W LED pods. I am using an ANZO Wireless Remote and it has been working perfectly. My skid plate is corroded on so I was unable to easily remove it for rear access to the backside of my front bumper. I wanted this to be an easy project so I took my telescopic magnetic pole and pushed the bolt and a rubber washer through the back side and had it sticking out of the front. I held the bolt in place with pliers as I put on another rubber washer as well as the mounting bracket. I used a locking nut so it wouldn't back off due to vibrations. It was a pain to do without being able to put a wrench on the bolt but it was do-able. I ran the lights in parallel to the controller and wired it into channel 1. Zip tied it all off and it works perfectly.

Never heard of a skid plate corroded on to an H3?

If you plan on changing the oil, get some Kroil.

Will have to look for that! Not sure if its actually corroded or what, but I snapped off my socket adapter and broke my small drive ratchet trying to get it off so I said screw it and got creative!

I'd have to agree, not heard of the aluminum skid corroding. Of course there's a first for everything.
If it is the bolts rusted to the idiot clips you can just go to your local hardware store and replace them.
If it is frozen in the cross beam under the diff you'll need to soak them really good.
