knocking noise under what seat? drivers? do you feel it in your butt or on the floorboards? If you only feel it in your butt and not on the floorboards then you pretty much isolated the problem to the seat, could be a loose power seat motor or could even have a loose wire in the power seat motor plug or switch causing the motor to engage sporatically which would make you feel a thud. if it's felt on the floor then I would look under the truck in that area and try to shake/pull/tap everything you see in that area to make sure everything is tight.

 

I tried that and found the loose screw, but nothing really comming lose, hard to say where the noise is comming from ! anyone can comment on the manager telling me I have 3 year warranty ? is he mistaken or is it true for leather ??

 

i mite try that but just in general am tired to drive back and forth between these dealers and them telling me everything is ok and everything is normal, I am going back again tomorrow, I noticed more damage to the leather, and also on passanger side ! I will see what happens

 

Ok went back to Paramus Hummer friday, as I noticed I have the same problem with the leather on passanger side, even though I had someone sit there a total of 20 times since purchase in November. Plus my side is cracking more now. The manager now said that hummer will not cover that and he can not replace it as they will not pay him back. I am going to call hummer directly and see.

 

can you post a pic of the leather raffi? Not saying your lying or anything but hard to tell how bad the seats are without seeing it. Definately call gm direct, I would have done that months ago if I were you. GM will send a regional service manager out to inspect it and will more than likely approve the repair and tell your dealer he has to do it. I had to go this route to get a tranny replaced in my jeep.

 

i posted a pic in the first post I made, my computer is currently broken so I can not post it again I am writing from my lappy and all the pics on my desktop. the thread should be not to far though where I showed the pics of the leather and the tire cover I believe..... mite be a post names tire cover ?? I will go look now

 

It should be replaced! Go cause a stink at the dealer, you paid extra for leather! It does not look like abuse, so they should take care of it. I agree with Import, call Hummer and they should take care of it..........good luck

 

The LEATHER is DEFINATELY a Warranty Item. The dealer is FULL OF ****!!!
