Default Leather Stripping Update

Took the car in for couple of things and showed them the leather, the guys said the manager would need to look at it. The manager said this seems like normal wear and tear. So I asked you are saying its not covered under warranty and he said that I have 3 years of warranty on the car...... basically he meant give it more time I assumed. Now the car is not even 1 year old, I know cars a lot older that leather did not strip on...... that plus as far as I remember I have 5 years warranty not 3 ? is he mistaking the hummer models or perhaps warranty on this like leather is smaller then the rest of bumber to bumper ? I should have asked but didnt catch it till after I left Should I take it back again and have them replace it no matter what? I dont want them to say a year from now that I should have said something earlier. I posted the pics of the leather couple weeks back and you guys said it was a defect.... also someone said they had a similar problem, what solution did you get to your problem ??

You should find a new dealer. I took my car in because the A/C was not blowing cold. The service manager said it seemed normal but he would do a leek down test and recharge the system. They gave me a loaner overnight for free. But before I left, I spoke with the detail manager because of excess rock chips in the windshield and rear outer wheel wells. New windshield! BAH BING! and they are going to paint the wheel wells. I dont know if I did the chips or what, I dont care. They are doing it. And, another loaner. LEGENDS HUMMER in Scottsdale rocks. In fact, I am going to post how happy about how they treated me.

I am not only bragging about them on the internet, I also wrote to Hummer to tell them about these guys. This whole outfit is first class.

I originally bought the car from Royal Cadillac and Hummer in Florham Park, NJ..... that was a total nightmare, they broke more things then repaired.... never dealt with more incompetence. Howevery, since last 2 repairs I have been going to Paramus Hummer on RT 17. They actually repaired most of the issues I had minus 1 or 2 they couldnt or thought were normal. I have a little noise in the frame between the doors when going over thins or even from base from the stereo, probably poor reinstallation by the other dealer, but they would not attempt to fix this I was told.... Still can not resolve the noise issue..... Now I also keep getting a knocking noise under the seat when I brake or accelerate at slow speeds.... today I pulled out a screw with a washer from underneat the carpet under the seat that was loose but that didnt solve the noise,,,, the most ennoying part is that I could not duplicate this when I was at the dealer, ofcourse right after leaving it started again I think I am going to call again tomorrow for another appointment

it may be a farther drive for you, I assume you are in northern NJ but gold coast casillac and hummer has a great service department. When I first got my h3 I had to bring it in for some minor issues and they were top notch, even gave me an h2 and a $200 gas card as a loaner.
