Default Last Month’s Four Wheel Parts Truck fest / Dallas

I intended to share these few photos from last month’s show but forgot I had 'em.

At any rate, here is some scoop.

Hummer representation: 1 H2 and 2 H3’s (including mine in the parking lot).

This guy pulled up next to me and I was expecting one of those mine is bigger than
yours type of showdowns. But to my surprise, it turned into a rather pleasant
exchange. He was prepping his FJ for the SEMA show next year and had just put
a 6” kit and 35’s on. Doesn’t wheel it, just wants a rolling advertisement in the end.

Here are some shots of an H3 convertible….I will withhold my opinion on kit quality and aesthetics….

The only other Hummer in the joint. (It was for sale)

These guys (N-Fab) are out of Houston and say they are about to have some new H3 nerf steps on
the market soon. They will look like the ones on this Ford.

NOTE: Other than the tire and wheel guys, N-Fab was the only group on site that
didn’t snicker or go “Oh, sorry” when I told them I was looking for H3 applicable product.

I know it’s a damn Heep, but it does look pretty darn good…

I’m a schwag ***** and just couldn’t say no when the Toyota Factory Rep handed me these.

Nice FREEBIE. (I have since taken a soldering iron to the Toyota logo so I wont be shamed.)

For Sale

And finally, one for Dennis

Found a little more infon on the soft top kit for the H3 I saw at this show:

From Off Road online:

The word is Bestop is building the soft top for HUMMER. Bestop already manufactures Jeep factory soft tops. If produced, the H3 ragtop will give HUMMER enthusiasts another chance to get the wind, rain, and sun in their hair after the demise of the H1 (that was available in a soft top variant).
We think there's a good chance this prototype will go into production. GM can't be blind to the Jeep JK Wrangler's incredible success. We'll keep you updated as we get further details.

Damn, nothing like a timely response....I just saw this.......Sorry Fear.....

Not that it will help NOW.......but....

That 2 looked very, very clean on the outside and underneath...Nice add-ons....Couldnt see the innards.

Did you ever look into it any further?

Wait.....did'nt I see a post by you someplace about looking at a high mileage H2? You weren't concerned with
any possible repairs as you had numerous shop resources at your disposal.....

At any rate, let me know what happened.....and again, sorry for such a delayed response.

I have the same magnaflow too and love it, you can usually get a used one on ebay or cragislist. I wanted a valid warranty so I got it here. Magnaflow 16633. Also some of the forum sponsors magnaflow usually have a sale going on. Either way its a great exhaust system, sounds great, and very easy to install.
