knock sensor location

When I had mine done by the dealer, they said that they had to remove the intake. They only replaced one? Anyway, they had my H2 for about 2 and a half hours, from start to finish.

Yes.... it does....

probably should buy the harness as well... the sensorsusually short to ground if you got water in the valley.... hence why you got the code... but it could be crappy gas... and it could go away... when in dount change the part

BTW... bank 1 refers to the left side or front...bank 2 refers to the right side or back one

A knock sensor is essentially a microphone that listens to your engine to detect knock. Generally it can detect a knocking rod or lifters that need to be adjusted etc...

I have no idea where the knock sensor is on the H2. My boat has a 5.7ltr 350 and the knock sensor is located on the side of the block just above the oil pan.

In the TSB it says to make a u shaped with silicone to restrict waterflow in but leave an opening so the water can drain if need be.
I would replace both at the same time. Before you replace them you might have them erase the code first and see if it comes back.

Well guys this is what I did, I took my car to autozone again and they erase the code from mytruck computer. I drove the truck to
one of those places where they do oilchanges and they did put that fluid that cleans the injectors. So far, 4 days after, the code
has not show up yet.

You could also try using some octane booster or a tank of better gas if it happens again...

Glad it worked out for you though...
