The site has been having some issues the last few days. Posting pics is one of the problems. IT is on it. Should be back up in a day or two.

I'm looking to lift the truck about 4". I'm not sure if the frame used was a '89 suburban or another year. Check out what it looks like. My dad and I are going to start with it next week. Looking to do a simple 4" lift, interior, some 37" tires and some other minor details. Any suggestions?

Putting new hinges and aligning everything. I got 6 37" tires and 17" rims which are being powder coated right now. The a/c gets installed next week and the week after it goes in for paint. I bought the rubber seal for the front windshield and am working on installing the 2nd wiper motor next week. Runs real nice.

I bought a 4" lift (leaf springs in front/back) which I'll put in next week as well. Getting rid of the rack, it's on craigslist if anyone is interested for $350. Looking now for a spare tire carrier. Last thing will be interior.

Any tips or suggestions, let me know. I am finishing this project which I bought at about 80% done. There are a million holes from the previous owner. Paint is going to rum me 3k, and that's taking their time with extensive body work and finishing. Cant' wait! (eventhough paint is going to take about a month, so I'll have to wait!)

Just picked up the H1 from the shop, where to put the lift. It was a 4" Rough Country lift, and it went up about 8 inches. It's amazing though. The old, original '76 leaf srpings were verybad so I underestimated them thinking about a 4" lift.I can't wait to drive this around after it's done. I'm a teacher and I start the year now this week so I'll have to resort to weekend work which I dreaded.

I was told that interior, the most basic upholstery job; meaning all floor carpets and insulation would runme about $600. I am tempted to do it myself though. Anyone know of this?

The A/C system was installed and I have to do is a new consol, since the one that came with the H1 doesn't fit over the A/C system in the middle console. I'm going to insulate the ceiling myself.

I get the black powder coated rims back next week and have them mounted on.

I decided to do all this BEFORE i send it to paint. I was originally going to send it to paint and then take care of everything but I figured I dont want to risk scratches and scuffs later on.

I wanted to know if anyone knows of anything that can cover the front wheel wells on the sides and the rear ones as well. You can see right through the engine in the front.

Any info or advice would be appreciated.

Had the wheel adapters and spacers put in along with the wheels. 38" BF goodrich on 17" rims that I had powdercoated a satin black.

The next thing is interior. I need to cover the wheel wells now in both the front and back, if anyone knows what I should use, pelase let me know. I'm going to Insulate the interior this coming weekend and get ready for the carpeting. Last thing will be paint.

Feel free to comment and let me know what you think and give me some advice, this is my FIRST BUILD and am WAY OVERBUDGET and problems pop up everywhere. I'm learning for my next project.
