Anyone have or heard one? What's ur thoughts? I bought it for 150 from a shop that was closing. I'm not a fan of the w1 subs buy I'm sure this is much better than oem n I'd run a m500 alpine to it, so it get 300 rms since it's a 4 ohm sub. I have a factory monsoon sub that this will replace, I'm positive it will sound better but can it be improved on beyond the way JL has it? That's why I ask below on options as I'd love a sub that will work in the box n sound good and handle the full 500rms the amp I have can toss at it.

Second question is the box is kinda different obviously cause how n why it's made to replace oem stuff. But will any other sub fit in this box? I imagine it's the magnet that's the issue but has anyone tried? Say with a w3, or kicker comp vr, or a ID sub or anything else that's better than the w1?

Hey its ok, the monsoon does do good. Only I upgraded the midst n highs with alpine type r components and ran them off an alpine f600 amp. So basically my bass is non existent with the monsoon when compared to the rest of the stereo. That's why I was questioning the stealthbox I just got if it will still be too lil. Or if there were ways to improve it? If not I may have to do something custom which I'd like to avoid of i could but I may have too.

 

So nobody knows?
