If you left your stock radio in you either have the single disc, the 6 disc monsoon, or the navigation which I believe is also monsoon. From my understanding the isimple i have only works with the single disc b/c the other Cd players have different connectors.

 

Steveng - I do have the BAND button but it doesnt change to an aux mode when pressed. It just changes from FM to AM and if I want the CD then I press the button with the Disc logo.

I will purchase it if I can know for sure. Just dont know if mine is the monsoon version or not. What is the difference.

 

I had the exact same radio you do now. if its the single disc radio (which it is), it will probably not have the monsoon system because i don't think that the unit could supply the monsoon system with enough power to work sufficiently. if you have any other questions, feel free to reply or send me a message.

 

Just purchased this from Steveng and will let you all know how it goes. So excited to have a permanent hookup in the H3.
