I have an instrument cluster/speedometer for a 2005/2006/2007 H2, it actually came out of my good buddy's 2006 H2. He purchased this as a brand new GM part, had it programmed to his miles and drove on it for 6 months while he had a custom brushed aluminum face and LED lighting done on his original cluster. It's got approximately 33K on it and is in perfect/new condition. I know this is a direct replacement for 2005/2006/2007, I have been told but cannot absolutely verify that it will work in the 2003/2004. This is a straight plug and play setup which requires no programming (only for mileage)

He paid $400 plus shipping and mileage programming, I checked ebay and the exchange units are selling for $250-400 and there is nothing currently availible for outright purchase.

Yes, this development is a bit of an undertaking. Creating a new shroud to cover the display will be the hardest part of the process. I'll have to possibly create several 3d printed designs. Thanks for the information regarding the GMC truck clusters. I did not even think about them. As far as the Odometer the data is stored in the ECU as well. I just have to extract it. I added a boost gauge on the UI design which I can turn into the Trans Temp gauge instead. Finding a high quality screen will be another hurdle as most 12.3 inch screens don't fair well in cold conditions.
