I want an H3...
ORIGINAL: White08H3
A lot of people get the impression that the H3 and the colorado is exactly the same, but don't be mistaken...they are completely different (I get it all the time). In fact there is an H3 for sale in the newspaper where I live and it says GMC H3 for sale [:@]..I want to call that person up and set the record straight. The H3 feels a lot stiffer on the road and feels more aggressive than the Colorado. Did you drive an H3 yet? If not, give it a try you will love it.
As far as dealers go, a lot look to be making deals on 08's with base or adventure packages...not Alphas too much. It depends on how much you want to pay a month. If you can afford it, go for the Alpha and get the looks, the power and the aggressiveness. I went with the base as that was as much as I could afford it, but still love it. It has enough power for everyday driving and still has awesome off-road power..Do some minor mods and gain even more off-road capability.
Good luck!

No, no, don't get me wrong, I know the Colorado and H3 are very different. If I didn't, I would just keep the Colorado. I was simply saying it is built on a variation of the GMT-355 platform. I cannot go for the Alpha, the 3.7 will be fine, I'm hoping to get a good deal on an 08 w/leather, sunroof, and possibly the adventure package, but I can live with the 32's and upgrade later. It won't be until around July 4 when I actually will want to buy, so I have a month or so for more incentives to come out. If you don't mind, how much did you get your 08 for?

I believe 33's come with the adventure package.

I leased mine, put $3,000 down and there was a customer bonus cash that bumped it to 4550 for a down payment. I added the tube steps and the mud flaps from the dealer and the total was suppose to be 33,600, but I bargained with them and got it down to 32,000 and change. I have the basic package, so you would be paying a little more (I don't have leather).
I got mine with 10k miles on it. I saved about $10K off the new car sticker price. I love the leather and Monsoon radioand do not have an adventure, but the base does have electronic limited slip in the rear.
Nice, $10K off huh? Yeah, I am also thinking about looking at some certified used H3's to keep the cost down. Man, I can't wait to start seriously looking...about another month...
P.S. - I think you misunderstood when I said, "I think I can live with the 32s". I was saying I think I could live without the adventure package and upgrade the tires later.

Nice thing too is that Hummer has a 48 month / 50K mile bumper to bumper warranty too. So I still got the same warranty with the currrent year and mileage that I got on my other New car. Since the Hummer dealer is 25 miles from my house, I also feel like I got a H3 with all the kinks worked out of it, if there were any ( I keep telling myself that anyway).
