Default Arizona H3 owners want to trail together?

Found a great canyon down by the Santa Maria river. Water was only about a foot deep but did not want to drive into the canyon alone. Two vehicles could back each other up if one got stuck and the trip would not be a tense experience. Any other H3 owners want to try the canyon? It is one of the most beautiful places I have found in Arizona. There is supposed to be a waterfall at the end of it. Most likely will not see people there. If interested e-mail me at; rostock@cableone.net

I'm in NM but not an owner... yet...

So what is the closest town to the Santa Maria River?

Edit: Besides, if we are going off road we are taking our '76 Bronco.

Cruizer It is in the middle of nowhere. You can drive for an hour and not see a car. It is near Baghdad Arizona and I am sure you know where that is. Is it even on the map? From Prescott you pass the smaaaaalllll town of Skull Valley and then Kirkland then 45 -60 minutes to the river. If you continue on that road you get to the dead end town of Baghdad. This is my favorite road for my Z06 -zero traffic, smooth straights where you can see ahead for miles before you get into the twisties. Your state is also very beautiful and when Arizona gets crowded I will be moving to NM.

I've actually heard of Baghdad, AZ. Hmm. Seems like there might be a PD mine there? I hope if you decide to come to NM, you beat all the crazy Californians!!! [>:]

I would be interested in riding together. I have the H3 and my husband has an H1. We live souh of Tucson and have plenty of trails where we live. Just last weekend we trailed with tucson hummer who organized an offroad event. It was great. Lots of Hummers and very well put together. Took the babyh to San Felipe (baja side) last month for the score race and had fun chasing with it. Anyone else out there?

Cruizer - Yes there is a PD mine there which is the reason the town is there. I think the mine was closed. Our town of Prescott has doubled in size in the last 5 years and that is all from the people who moved here from Calif. Now when we are honked at the light for not moving fast enough we can be sure who is doing the honking. They will be in NM soon.

BabyH - Ever get up here? Let us know when you might.

We don't get up there much even though we do have some cousins that live in prescott valley. We visit them every now and then. Most family lives in phx..we are going to try some trails there next. I heard there was a hummer event in Flagstaff sometime in may/june. Heard about it through the national hummer club. That sounds like fun. Do you know anything about that club? I was thinking about joining.

I know there will be a Hummer event in Sedona AZ. It will be May19-May21. Contact Lana Garceau at 702 253 7000. For those of you that never heard of Sedona it has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world - red rock country.
