Default I sunk my H3 a while back

Sunk my 06 H3 like 4 months ago and thought you guys would like to see em. Sunk it at the black hole in Cocoa, FL. I had to leave her there over night because she switched into Park when the water came in over the electronics and I couldnt get it out of park because, the signal from the brake pedal to the shifter is elctronic and was fried. I pulled it out with a frontend loader and ripped the linkage off with my hands, which is quite easy by the way.
(cable looking thingy) its on the main frame bar under the driver-side door) all I did was pull with no more than 10lbs of pressure and off ripped the cable which let me put it into neutral. Basically water right up to the seats and just over the back seats. Thats not my finger in the last picture thats the sand shoreline, it was like a three foot verticle wall.

Oh yeah and after a night of sitting completely submurged for like 18 hours the power seats still worked! Lets see a jeep do that

Got a new one though 06' H3 sunroof black.
I will be modding very soon. I just bought four off-road lights and a set of Hella Supertone Horns. I think it will look nice. Check back soon.

Sorry for the crappy quality I had a Nextel brick and have since updated to an EVO 4G.

Wow those are awesome shots. Nothing else was wrong with it? The truck started up and drove away fine? No speaker damage? NOTHING?
What kinda surface was underneath, sand? It doesn't like like anything that would really swallow you up?

Yeah thx, u know they say a pictures with $27,000 and as for the aftermath, nope I totaled it. It was straight up muck like 2 1/2 ft deep with another foot of water on that. I drove in kinda fast thinking I would make it no problem and just sunk in and bottomed out. I've got more pics of my sunk one and new H3 in my albums on here.

Ha your funny. Well when I went into the mud I threw the altenator belt off somehow, I was stuck for good but, the truck dying didn't help at all. I did also hydrolock it. And as for the insurance company, all I can say is anything can be achieved by mixing the proper words into a great believable (not my fault) sentence.

Nope they sold it to an auction. When I went to go get my stuff out from this huge totaled car auction place I asked the guy who was watching me to make sure I didnt take anything out my car that i didnt fill out a paper for he said they usually end up getting sold and shipped to Mexico. He also added that it'll probably sell for around $15,000, and fixed up down in Mexico to be sold as a working H3 to be driven there as well. Unlucky for whoever gets it because the diff is gonna start slipping soon.

Dude, you were THIS || close to making it out.

Cleaning out both diffs and the tranny + all new fluid SHOULD avoid long term issues with those, but that thing is going to have electrical gremlins forever.

Default shifting to neutral without power

After the fact and all, but here goes. If your H3 is dead and stuck in park or wherever, you can just pull up the shifter "booty" and push a little button in there. It's a release. It can then be shifted to neutral.
I had no PCM but needed to roll mine a while back.
Again, no help for your situation, but if there's a next time you're good to go
