I've sold all those brands on chevy trucks and hummers over the years, If you expect to get the same kind of mileage that you got out of your first set I'd go with the O.E. brake pad. the a.c. delco durastops and advantages will not come close to the life that you got out of the o.e. pads, neither will the wagner thermo quiets.

Now you r talking about mileage ... I went to the dealer today and with only 62000 miles on the truck they don't think the problem are the pads but maybe the main cylinder ...
They told me to schedule an appointment for a brake revision

Based on your exp what do you think ... To me 62k miles for the brakes pads on a 8000 pound trucks is more than enough time for a replacement

Thanks

I have an 03' h2 with 105,000. I tow a camper occasionally and do some mile off roading. Im still on my original brakes. My boss and his brother (who both work here) have chevy trucks, one has 78,000 the other is over 120,000 miles. both still have original brake pads. neither of them tow or do any offroading though. In the early 2000's when chevy had first started upgrading their brakes with 4-wheel disc and I would have a customer come in I'd replace them with aftermarket pads. It seems like every single on that I did they would come back with either noise/premature wear/ or other issues. I learned my lesson the hard way as I prefer to do it right the first time. I have the same issues with any of the new dodges and toyotas. I always use factory brake pads on those cars.
