I just bought a 05 h2 and I want to lift it and put te biggest tires available on it. I was thinking about the fabtech 6" and grapplers 38 with helo wheels 20"? Will this fit and also how does a lifted hummer ride. Thanks for the help guys.

 

if you go with the 6" fabtech you will have no problem clearing the 20"s w/38s from lock to lock you could actually run 40s !!! only if you wanted to personally i'd stick to 38s. i had 24 inch rims on my hummer with 37" kumho mud grapplers with just a leveling kit but i had slight rubbing only on u-turns. now i have 20" moto metals with 35" nitto terra grapplers on my hummer now so it will fit in the garage and had 24" Xd's with 38s kumho mud grapplers on my old f-250 and loved them as far as ride well a lifted hummer rides like a lifted hummer Lol !!! but seriously the ride really depends on your tire choice and how aggressive your tread is

 

I have the 6" Fabtech lift and I run 40" tires and don't have any problems unless trying to make a U-turn and hit a bump.

 

what rim size do you have and backspacing???????????? thanks

 

Does the ride get harder or anything or does te steering wheelshake or anything I have never had a lifted or really been in one before lol

 

They are 20" Ice Metal wheels with 40" tires, though I am not 100% sure on the back spacing.
