I have a 1995 H1 wagon and really don't care for the wagon. I would like to convert it over to a truck or a soft top even. How hard is this? Where would i find the parts? Anyone want to swap tops LOL?

Not as easy as you would think. The roll bars for the wagons and open tops are different heights. The HMC4 and HMCO versions have solid fixed panels where your wagon has the lift out cargo area divider so difficult to waterproof the open bed/interior joint. Finding the HMCO top would be hard but not impossible. Less to swap going to the hardtop vs the soft top. Likely better to sell yours and buy what you want.

And the soft top mfg is out of business so new tops are very expensive. I think Dave Breggin had a run of them made but they were about $2500.00 each.

We've changed a few tops. It's not that hard, but it's not that easy either. Problem is finding the new parts. To remove a wagon roof takes about 4-5 hours and it can be done by 6 men if you don't have a forklift with long forks handy. Pull the rear glass frame before pulling the roof.
