I'm 6'0 and I love the seats. Power seats rule!

I had the exact same issues with my 2006 and 2008 H3's. I now have a 2009 with power seats that you can raise up and it does make a difference...

I dunno, maybe people just have short torso's and long legs, because I was specifically looking at mine today after reading this thread and I would be in danger of hitting my head on the roof if my seat was much higher. I have to crane my neck to see stop lights as it is now, I can't imagine if my seat was higher. I would probably have to tilt my head all the way to the side. lol

why'd you buy an H3 if you don't like driving it?

I guess the H3's without power seats aren't height adjustable? I'm about 5'10" and I'm pretty sure i could rub my head on the sunroof if i raised my seat all the way up. (I have power seats, never been in an H3 without them)

I'm only 6' and tilting the power seat cushion so it's raised a bit in the front makes all the difference, even on the longest hauls. It provides me with just the right amount of additional seat support that way.

The back seats are pretty much a lost cause though.

I just came from driving a mustang and a fiero, before getting my H3. And I feel like I'm really raised up, but I was pretty much sitting on a cushion on the floorboard in those cars, especially the fiero.

TS, maybe check out a place that specializes in handicap vehicles. I'm sure they deal with seat adjustments all the time. But like you were concerned before, this could get expensive. If you don't get them to do it, maybe they could at least point you in the right direction.

I'm with you brother!

I am only 5'10"! I look thru the "hole-in-the-roof" a lot at traffic lights. Also, on every H3 we have owned (4 now) I have had the rear view mirror mount moved up about 1 1/4" to get a better view of the road, makes a huge difference.

I guess Im going to get drastic and pull the brackets off and weld some spacers to them and remount the seats. Id love to get 2 or 3 more inches.

The last sentence is funny.....

Wouldn't every guy like to get 2 or 3 more inches.....

Yeah man! I love tilting back the seat a bit for a long trip.... so much more comfortable than my car!

I have no gripes about the seat height, truck fits me like a glove.
