Default Huntsville H2

Bought a used low mileage 03 H2 3 weeks ago and put the fun back into driving again. Just wanted to do a shout out to all you other Hummer owners out there. I usually hook up with forums of most off road or recreational vehicles I own as I'm sure I will be relying on technical expertise and suggestions on a few future mods/purchases.

Default H2 Plans

I will have to take some of my own pics (currently I just have the ones from the dealer advertising from where I purchased the vehicle).
I think I will currently stay away from any performance mods since my H2 is getting better than anticipated gas mileage. Drove it from California to Alabama and got a solid 14.5. Commuting I'm getting 12 here around town but a lot of that is also uncongested highway (my luck). That leaves body accessories and I hate to say it but possibly some suspension mods down the road. I say that because I just sold my Jeep Rubicon which I set up for Rock Crawling with the local rock crawling club. I have a couple atv's and may limit most crazy adventures to that form of less expensive transport.

youll be surprised how capable your H2 is in stock form... im not saying its a rock crawler, but alot more comfortable to ride in on the trails than most rigs lol...

Welcome. Think you will find on your first time on the trails that lower gears are in order.
My Rubicon as with yours 4-low and crawl anywhere you want. The H2 on down hills you for sure feel the weight.

I don't think I'll be doing this in the Hummer like my Rubi shown below (no I'm not pulling line in this pic). But the pucker factor would be a lot more comfy in the new heated seats.

Yes indeed... but your Rubi prob has alittle more articulation than the deuce and open wheels like that mustve helped seeing where you were going

2 different worlds for sure (RockCrawling vs Off-Roading). Plus being with 5 like minded friends/spotters helps a lot. No intent to turn my h2 into a rock crawler (pockets aren't that deep). I'm going to enjoy it for the machine that it is (maybe a tire upgrade and some other minor tweaks).

Jut bought it 3 weeks ago so I have not done any modifications yet. Still a bit blingy but I really am enjoying it.
