Ok, I am looking for help and advice. my boss wants me to sell his H1 after he just had the dealer overhaul the engine and trans. I know alot about cars and trucks but I admit I know nothing about H1's or what they sell for. it needs interior and exterior work but the engine and trans are obviously solid. What is a good way to find out its worth and is it worth the time and effort to fix cosmetics or unload it as is? Thank you in advance for any help with this.

I noticed a post from NY looking for a H1 and asked my boss about it and he isn't apposed to driving it to a buyer in the US. If that dont prove it runs well i dunno what does

Post it in the classified/for sale area. That is where everyone looks for Hummers for sale. What is he asking for it? Might try the Hummer Marketplace.

 

I hesitate to put it in the for sale since our biggest problem is estimating its value. I know Jeeps not hummers as far as price all I have to work with is that he has 15k in the new engine and trans that schaumburg hummer (dealer) installed so I know he wont go under that but thats it. Ebay seems to be no help since most sellers think there hummers are solid gold and tools I usually use like edmonds have it between 20k and 35k but im told by another forum member that a 2003 with 25k miles and a new trans in almost mint condition is 25k. Needless to say im more lost now than when I started looking for information.
