On the hunt for our first H2
#12
I got my 06-60k miles for 26 ...
A things to considerate ... interiors are completely different ... While I like the 03-06 much better I heard the 08 doesnt have the annoying plastic noise inside ... However I dont like the too delicate interior.
My 06 is the top of the line model for 06 ... Special edition with all the Tv , navigation , sunroof , etc however the Rdio, navigation, dvd system was completely crap ... I replaced all for a aftermarket system .
Other than the rattle noise and the crap nav/sound/dvd system I love the truck ... Big price gap between the 06-08 .
I cant said about engine/trans on the 08 but so far at 70k I have not problem at all with my 06...
Good luck with your hunt
Edit: BTW why your looking for less than 30k miles ... This truck will last 15 times that . So a little more mileage wont hurt your truck but it will save you some bucks

Obviuosly the 08+ H2 is better, because its a bit more efficient and more powerful, however, looking on the net, there is a pretty big price gap between 07 and 08 H2's. So, if you don't want to spend too much, go for a good 03-07 H2. It shouldn't matter if it has a factory nav or not, you can just pick an oem GM navi system off of ebay for cheap, and install it. Just a side note, if you like changing cars every two years or so, then stay away from hummer because they have a very slow market (no one is buying them b/c of fuel economy). If you are going to keep it for over three years, then go ahead and get it.
Good luck

They are a hit here in Atlanta also. I love my 2003. I have customized mine inside and out. I don't mind the interior on the 2003 mainly because I took most of the trim out, sanded & repainted

I've owned my 06 for a few years...bought it about 3 years ago with about 20,000 miles on it....I cant remember exact number but the only issue so far has been a mass flow sensor that when I removed it I found a leaf it it....which I'm sure is why it threw the code..... but I changed it anyway! I have about 38,000 miles so far. I love my 06! Plenty of mods you can do to make it yours... I suggest buying a lower mile one and paying more...money well spent that will improve your hummer experience. This is my motto with any purchase...I am a service manager at a used car lot that sells a lot of cars...LOWER MILE CARS HAVE LESS ISSUES! Good Luck whatever you choose!

I just bought an 08 H2 with 16k miles, and two months left on its factory warranty.... Shopped for months...
Best bet is start watching eBay, most dealers do advertise used cars there, and be prepared to fly to get the one you want..
I do live in Houston so it made things easier, but if i had found what i was looking for in California or a far away state i would have paid the price of a plane ticket to get a low mileage Hummer.
I did find in my hunt that the 08-09 model interiors with high mileage held up a lot better than some 03-07 models with less mileage.

I'm also starting to look around for an H2. We bought the wife her H3 last year and she loves it. How bad does it hurt to travel in the H2 ? -fuel wise- We have done several 2k trips in the H3...2 adults, 2 small kids....kinda tight after a while but ok....
