Default Hummer will be shut down before September 2010

After the deal of selling Hummer fizzling, General Motors Co (GM) intend to completely shut down Hummer brand before September 2010. It that mean Hummer owners may lost the maintain from GE? May be it not so:

What's going to happen to all the dealers that are exclusively Hummer dealers? That's what I'd like to know.

To jgrdn... Conroe TX huh? I'm in Ft Worth. Been dealing with Classic Hummer of Grapevine TX... My girl & I BOTH have a great relationship with these guys. It is somehow a joint venture with Chevy & apparently the service dept will stay open. If I hear anything different, I'll post about it...

Now on the effect to current owners, how is this going to effect the resale value??? Any opinions??? NO, this has NOTHING to do with even a minute notion of selling... Jennifer, which EVENTUALLY will have her own profile, knows that I am keeping my H2 SUT FOR E V E R!!!!!!!! lol.. Plans for any rebuilds will include massive upgrades.... Luckily enough I've got a guy close by who will handle these tasks.... HOPEFULLY won't happen for quite a few years since I NOW have my eyes set on a NEW toy!!!! An ICON A5!!! Yall should youtube or google this!!!!

Y'know what? There is only one thing that would make my H3 a keeper for life and that would be a Cummings diesel. That seems to me to be a perfect fit.
