I was wandering what kind of warranty my hummer originally came with it is an 03 model with 37000 miles on it i know its out of warranty but i am seriously considering getting a new waranty if i am able reading about all the problems people are having with there is making have a major freak out session i called hummer today and they said there was a recall on mine something for the windshield wipers or something i have to call them tomorro to get it scheduled to get it fixed does anyone know if i can buy a extended waranty still? if so about how much are those kind of things thx

 

Mooneym-I have trouble with my '04 right side wiper, keeps coming off. I've tried many things to fix it but nothing seems to make a permanent fix. Let me know what they say about your wiper if you don't mind, maybe I have the same issue...

a lot of aftermarket companies aren't doing extended warranties on H2s anymore.

Your original warranty was 3 year/36,000 miles. It changed in model year 2006 to 4 year/50,000 miles.

 

wander why they arent doing them on hummers anymore i called my hummer dealership today also and they said it would be 2400 dollars for a 2 year 36000 mile extended is that worth it?

 

<shrugs> it's like insurance...you hope you don't have to use it, but it's probably worth the price. How many miles does your H2 have?

 

37000 bought it 2 weeks ago the only thing that is wrong with it is the mirrors dont fold in knock on WOOD I have never read about so much stuff in my life going wrong with these things on here it is bothering me these things must be peices of junk lol mine is an 03 model

 

37k on an 03 is crazy low....If that's true mileage, I'd be inclined to save the dough and spend it on repairs instead...if you would have said 100k, I would have said buy it.

 

ya it is original miles bought it off a local dealer the miles is the only reason i bought it i looked all over and couldny find any uner 60k even on 07 models. I am going to take your advice and save my money but i am really really wanting the new style rear view mirrors i just cant find any

 

They're not cheap new...but you could try a junkyard in a large city who may have bought an 06+ that had the rear end ripped off or something....
